Remember the cooking-themed roguelite Cuisineer, where you ran a restaurant and ventured into dungeons to gather ingredients? The same developers BattleBrew Productions have recently announced their new project HellHeart Breaker. It’s a game that combines action roguelite mechanics with a dating simulator, and it’s planned to release in the first quarter of 2027 on PC via Steam. So, we’ll have to wait quite a while.

The core of the game lies in its hybrid approach: you build romantic relationships with seven monstrous girls who grant you various powers, but those who reject you become bosses you must fight. The game offers a diverse arsenal of 35 weapons, plus seven elemental ability trees and numerous upgrades that further shape your playstyle.

Beyond combat, HellHeart Breaker includes customization features like clothing and home decorating, letting you personalize your experience. A quirky addition is fishing, which brings a relaxing element. On the other hand, the Kappa Market offers an abundance of food, echoing Cuisineer’s culinary charm. The studio jokingly emphasizes that despite the romantic aspect, players “can’t fix” all of their companions.
