We got a new trailer last week for the survival game ATMOSFAR, and it was confirmed that it will be available for PC via Steam in 2026. The game is being developed by Apog Labs and Shueisha Games and is a sci-fi adventure that takes you to the planet Tycos, a world of floating islands and celestial wonders. At the core is the quest for the truth about the fate of the last human colony, as you explore, build, and survive alone or with up to three friends.

ATMOSFAR features a massive open world filled with floating islands and unique ecosystems. The heart of the game is the Wasp, an agile aircraft available in four classes, each offering unique abilities:

  • Fighter Wasp – focuses on combat
  • Utility Wasp – lets you set up deployable camps
  • Cargo Wasp – built for heavy transport
  • Scout Wasp – ideal for long-range exploration

The game also supports four-player co-op. Collaboration is crucial in managing and upgrading the Cloud Cruiser, your mobile base. Planet Tycos is filled with strange flora and fauna, as well as ever-changing weather, from stormy winds to thunderous downpours, requiring players to adapt to survive.

Survival demands clever resource management. Environmental scrap can be turned into useful materials to craft new tools, fuel, and equipment. The Wasp can also be upgraded with new engine parts, chassis components, or decorative elements like stickers and paint. Discovering rare artifacts offers further upgrades vital for overcoming the planet’s challenges.
