Wristwork and publisher Tiny Dragon have announced that Pigeon: A Love Story will launch on August 6, 2026 for Steam, iOS, and Android. The unusual “needle-in-a-haystack” simulator invites players to search through millions of pigeons in hopes of finding their perfect feathered soulmate.
At launch, players will be able to explore five life-sized cities inspired by real-world locations: London, Paris, Amsterdam, New York, and Tokyo. Each environment features recognizable landmarks, rooftops to explore, and an enormous population of pigeons, creating what the developers describe as a true-to-life search for your soulmate. The game can be played solo or cooperatively with a friend.
Ahead of release, you can already try the updated v1.1 “Rooftop” demo on Steam. The latest update introduces a new rooftop landing mechanic following community feedback requesting more opportunities to rest while exploring the city. You can now land on designated rooftops throughout the London demo, unlocking new vantage points and encouraging exploration by hiding secret landing spots across the city’s skyline.
