Moon Studios has delayed the 1.0 release of No Rest for the Wicked from October 2026 to March 2027 for PC and PlayStation 5.

Release details for the Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 versions remain undecided. The additional development time will be used to improve performance, refine the class system and bring the action RPG closer to the studio’s intended standard.

Moon Studios plans to hold further closed beta tests during the coming months, followed by an open beta in December 2026. The studio says feedback gathered during these tests will help shape the final stretch of development.

The deadline for receiving the Founders Pack has also moved to January 1st, 2027 on PC. Anyone who purchased the game after the original July 10th cutoff will be included retroactively, while PlayStation 5 players will be eligible when pre-orders begin in January.

The pack contains the Spirit Cavern hideout, Sayer’s Vow sword, a custom Founders tag and access to a Founders-only public beta test environment after launch.

No Rest for the Wicked remains available through Steam Early Access. For another demanding action RPG, read our Mortal Shell II review.
