1+1 Studios has added online cooperative play to the free Duo Quest demo ahead of the roguelite deckbuilder’s September 16th, 2026 PC launch.
The demonstration was previously limited to local multiplayer and now allows two players to connect without using third-party software. The addition arrives after requests from players who participated in testing that began in December 2025.
Duo Quest turns a pair’s real-world relationship into a game mechanic. Players battle monsters and build complementary decks while answering questions about one another, with correct knowledge helping them create stronger attacks.
Its Bondbreaker mode combines those relationship questions with deck-building strategy. Procedurally generated stages offer different routes, secrets and cards, while five unlockable classes and mysterious artefacts provide further options across repeated runs.
The complete game contains more than 1,000 questions divided across over 20 themes. It has attracted more than 27,000 Steam wishlists and received nominations at Gamescom LATAM and the SEA Game Awards.
