Publisher tinyBuild and development studio DogHowl Games today announced that Level Zero: Extraction, the upcoming first-person extraction and multiplayer horror game, previously known as Level Zero, will host a closed beta test on Steam starting on March 15, 2024.
In this game, players embark on extraction missions where three teams of three mercenaries compete to hunt for valuables. Simultaneously, two players take on the roles of vicious aliens who stalk human opponents from the darkness in intense PvPvE battles. You can expect first-person combat characterized by realistic shooting and melee dynamics, along with advanced health, animation, and movement systems.
Gear up from a wide assortment of weapons and survival gadgets: from rifles, shotguns, and flamethrowers, to grenades, mines, motion sensors, and traps. This also includes machetes, hammers, remote controls, and signal flares. On the other side, you can use alien powers like acid, living traps, crawling, EMP screams, and heartbeat scanning to hunt the humans.
A new gameplay trailer has also been revealed, highlighting the unique combination of sci-fi horror with survival elements and tense, high-stakes shooting. Level Zero: Extraction is launching for PC via Steam Early Access sometime this year.
