Don’t Lose Aggro Demo Now Available, Inspired By Tank Experience From MMOs

A new demo is now available for Don’t Lose Aggro on PC via Steam, a singleplayer rougelite game that redefines the tanking experience from MMOs. Created by solo developer Oren Koren, the game challenges players to command chaos and master “aggro management” without the pressure of online multiplayer.

Your mission is to protect your companions through tactical and challenging battles. The core of the gameplay is perfecting your aggro management skills, the ability to control how much enemies want to attack you. You must strategically position enemies and create unique character builds that reflect classic MMO tanking styles, such as the fast “Dodger”, the tough “Blocker”, the clever “Kiter”, or the commanding “Taunter.”

“Don’t Lose Aggro was born from my passion for MMORPG tanking gameplay and my desire to create an accessible, solo experience that stays true to those mechanics”, said Koren. He aimed to capture the feeling of group dynamics and raid challenges from MMOs, but specifically for a solo player, free from guild drama and the need for a huge time commitment.

In other words, you will be able to use a variety of Dynamic Abilities, including both offensive and defensive skills. These can be anything from a “Charge” to close a gap with an enemy to a “Hook” that pulls enemies toward you, all to control the flow of battle.
