Spatium Interactive from Velika Gorica is bringing us a very interesting game, Rat Race Ritual. It is described as a 3D stealth adventure and survival multiplayer game, intended for 2 to 8 players, set in a dystopian corporate world reminiscent of a nightmare.

The founder of the studio, Ivan Grobenski, emphasizes that Rat Race Ritual is actually a satirical parody of modern IT practices, especially in today's tech companies. In the game, workers (developers) must hide and complete tasks while being hunted by their bosses, who assign them new tasks.

As a programmer, you use an invisible cloak to stay hidden for a short time. Developers must perform tasks such as printing documents or making mysterious Schrödinger's coffee. As a boss, you are responsible for maintaining the productivity of the developers, but it's not always the goal to catch them immediately. Bosses can also temporarily slow down developers or send them to HR for a performance review. To clear their name, developers must find the HR location on the map and stay there long enough to avoid penalties.

Rat Race Ritual currently offers three unique maps, each with specific looks and challenges, and the studio announces that more locations will be added in the future. Additionally, this title will be available for PC via Steam in 2025.
