Microids, known for the Syberia series and Blacksad: Under the Skin, is teaming up with indie developer Anomalie Studio to publish their debut game, Melobot – A Last Song. The game will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam on September 12th, 2024.
In this unique rhythm/action-adventure, you play as Melobot, a musical robot tasked with healing a post-apocalyptic world. Explore stunning sci-fi environments, interact with alien plants, and use music to fight off mysterious enemies. Instead of traditional combat, you’ll use rhythm-based controls to play melodies and combat a strange disease affecting the planet.
Melobot – A Last Song combines rhythm gameplay with emotional storytelling, inspired by Pixar and Studio Ghibli. The game is designed for both rhythm game fans and newcomers. It will be available for €/$24.99.
