Cozy games continue to grow in popularity, and one title is taking the genre in a positive and meaningful direction. Clean Up Earth was showcased during the Future Games Show Spring Showcase, offering a relaxing yet rewarding experience centered on restoring polluted environments around the world.

Developed by French indie studio Magic Pockets, the game invites you to explore beautiful locations inspired by real-world landscapes. From beaches and rivers to deserts and mountain regions, each area begins as a polluted wasteland filled with plastic waste and debris. Using a futuristic vacuum-like tool called the Terra Cleaner, you remove trash and watch the world gradually heal around you.

The transformation happens in real time. As garbage disappears, plants begin to grow again, water becomes clear, and wildlife slowly returns to the area. The result is a satisfying gameplay loop that blends exploration with environmental storytelling, encouraging you to appreciate how your efforts restore life to damaged ecosystems.

While the game can be enjoyed alone at a slow, relaxing pace, multiplayer is a major focus. Friends can team up in small co-op sessions or even join large shared maps where up to 25 players work together to clean massive polluted zones. The more people involved, the faster entire landscapes can be brought back to life. Progression revolves around upgrading the Terra Cleaner, unlocking new locations, and discovering hidden areas as the environment improves.

A free demo of Clean Up Earth is already available on Steam. The full game will launch on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, with versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2 planned for later in 2026.
