Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Artificer have announced that Minos, a strategic puzzle game centered around labyrinth construction and mythological storytelling, will launch on April 9 on Steam. The title introduces a twist on Greek mythology by placing players in control of the labyrinth itself, tasked with protecting the Minotaur.

Set within a reimagined myth of Asterion, the cursed king turned Minotaur, Minos explores both the creature’s fate and the role of Daedalus, the brilliant architect behind the ever-changing maze. You are given full control over the labyrinth’s layout, allowing you to design pathways using walls, gates, and corridors.

The gameplay revolves around defending the Minotaur by turning the labyrinth into a deadly puzzle for intruders. Each run introduces new enemies, traps, and mechanics, ensuring that no two attempts unfold in the same way. As you experiment with different configurations, you will also gradually uncover more about the story behind Asterion and Daedalus.
