Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era is set to mark the long-awaited return of one of strategy gaming’s most iconic franchises, with its Early Access launch scheduled for April 30, 2026. Developed by Unfrozen Studio and published by Hooded Horse in partnership with Ubisoft, the game will be available on PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, as well as through PC Game Pass on day one.
Built on the foundations that defined the franchise, Olden Era combines turn-based tactical combat, strategic empire building, and role-playing progression systems. Players will explore a newly introduced fantasy setting filled with secrets, while managing cities, commanding armies of mythical creatures, and engaging in large-scale battles. The game also offers both solo and multiplayer experiences alongside a variety of gameplay modes.
The Early Access version will include a diverse range of content, from narrative-driven campaigns to classic skirmishes, procedurally generated maps, and premade scenarios. Additional modes such as Arena and Single Hero gameplay aim to expand replayability, while multiplayer features allow players to compete or cooperate with others.
