Wired Productions has announced a new partnership with Portuguese indie studio Camel 101 (known for Those Who Remain and Syndrome) for their upcoming horror FPS Beneath. To celebrate this collaboration, a closed beta is now open for sign-ups, allowing players to experience the game early and provide valuable feedback.
Beneath is a Lovecraftian first-person survival horror game that draws inspiration from legendary titles like F.E.A.R., Resident Evil, and Half-Life. The action is set in the depths of the ocean, where you play as the veteran diver, Noah Quinn. What started as a routine expedition quickly transforms into a chilling underwater nightmare. With diminishing supplies and menacing monstrous creatures, Noah will have to confront horrific mutations, encroaching madness, and a sinister conspiracy that threatens humanity itself.
In Beneath, resources are scarce and ammunition is limited. You will have to carefully manage your supplies while fighting not only against the external horrors but also against your own unstable psyche. You can choose between sneaking through the shadows to conserve resources or engaging in adrenaline-fueled combat as you sink deeper into the abyss of the unknown.
