New Idle Clicker This Ain’t Even Poker, Ya Joker Blends Incremental Progression with Poker-Inspired Chaos

A new title promising endless scaling and poker-inspired mechanics, This Ain’t Even Poker, Ya Joker, has been signed for publishing by Oro Interactive. Developed solo by Mash, the game is an upcoming incremental idle clicker that traps players in the eerie carnival domain of Lester the Jester, challenging them to earn massive payouts and ultimately escape a cycle of gambling.

The game has drawn comparisons to Balatro for its roguelike deckbuilding elements but differentiates itself by heavily emphasizing idle progression, upgrades, and absurd scaling. The mechanics stretch far beyond traditional poker rules, allowing you to build hands of seven or more cards and utilize up to nine decks simultaneously.

Also, the meta-progression is driven by an Ascension mechanic, where players reset their progress in exchange for “Poker Chips.” These chips are a meta-currency used to buy permanent upgrades, enabling them to reach greater depths in subsequent runs.

This Ain’t Even Poker, Ya Joker can be wishlisted on Steam and is releasing later this year.
