Superhero Workplace Comedy Dispatch Launches Episodically in October

Developer AdHoc Studio has announced that its narrative-driven superhero workplace comedy Dispatch will release for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on October 22. The game will be delivered episodically over four weeks, with two episodes launching each week. A 39.99 $ Deluxe Edition will also be available, which includes a digital art book and four digital comics.

From the writers and directors of the critically acclaimed Tales from the Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us, Dispatch puts players in the shoes of Robert Robertson, a former superhero whose life takes an unexpected turn. After his mech-suit is destroyed in a battle with his nemesis, the hero, also known as Mecha Man, is forced to take a job as a dispatcher at a superhero call center. His mission is to rehabilitate a group of ex-supervillains, manage office relationships, and rebuild his suit to get a shot at revenge.

The game is a blend of narrative, strategy, and humor, exploring what it means to be a hero both in the field and behind a desk. Your choices will shape the unfolding story, from breakroom banter to life-or-death situations. Using a strategy map, you must deploy the right or wrong heroes to deal with emergencies. Managing the team goes beyond just powers; you will need to navigate their positives, flaws, and baggage of each hero to keep the team together.

Adding to the game’s appeal is an all-star cast featuring a wide range of talent from across the entertainment world. The cast includes Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), Laura Bailey (The Last of Us II), Jeffrey Wright (The Batman), and content creators MoistCr1TiKaL and Jacksepticeye.
