During a recent PlayStation State of Play, GungHo Online Entertainment (GOE) officially revealed LET IT DIE: INFERNO, the apocalyptic sequel to the cult-favorite survival action game LET IT DIE. The new title is scheduled for release on December 3, 2025, for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, with the standard edition priced at $24.99 / €24.99.
Continuing a franchise that has attracted over nine million players, LET IT DIE: INFERNO plunges the series into a disturbing new era. Instead of ascending the familiar Tower of Barbs, you will now embark on a dark descent into the Hell Gate; a vast, shifting abyss created by an unprecedented cataclysmic event. Within this distorted realm of time and space, strange hybrid creatures roam, guarding the Eye of the Reaper, a treasure rumored to grant the discoverer the power to rule the world.
In this new abyss, you take on the role of a Raider, an immortal explorer aiming to find the aforementioned eye. The game promises a deeper look into the series’ warped world, bringing expanded lore, new storylines, and the return of the iconic character — Uncle Death.
The entire experience is defined by a dynamic PvEvP system where chaos and unpredictability reign. Every new playthrough brings new challenges: levels and items are constantly changing, forcing you to combine unique weapons and abilities to survive. In addition to battling the environment, Raiders will be met by other players, and the cost of failure is high as you are sent back to the very beginning.
Pre-orders are already active on the PlayStation Store, with Steam pre-orders coming soon. The game is also offered in a Deluxe Edition for €44.99 and an Ultimate Edition for €59.99.
