Croatia is set to take the spotlight in the global gaming industry this May, as Expo Gamers 2026 prepares to bring some of the biggest names in the business to Opatija. Scheduled for May 29 and 30, the event aims to position itself as one of the most significant gatherings in the region, with a strong international focus and a diverse, high-quality program spread across three dedicated tracks.
This year’s edition places a clear emphasis on global reach, with industry leaders from renowned studios and organizations such as Larian Studios, PlayStation, Electronic Arts, Supercell, Housemarque, and IGDA expected to attend. With participation from both global companies and regional studios, the event continues to expand beyond its local roots, aiming to establish itself among more prestigious international industry conferences.
The third edition of Expo Gamers will also feature special guests from the critically acclaimed Baldur’s Gate 3, including voice actors Tim Downie and Andrew Wincott, alongside composer Borislav Slavov. Attendees will not only have the chance to listen to panels and presentations but also participate in a dedicated meet-and-greet session, offering opportunities for autographs, photos, and personalized voice recordings.
Beyond industry talks, the show floor will feature esports tournaments, influencer appearances, VR experiences, and even a mini airsoft zone. Visitors can also explore an indie showcase highlighting projects from both local and international developers, as well as browse gaming gear and merchandise in dedicated retail areas. Regional studios such as Croteam, Mad Head Games, and Outfit7 are also set to be part of the program.
As with most large-scale events, early ticket purchases come with discounted pricing, available until May 11, 2026, with special reduced rates offered for students, pupils, and children. Tickets can be secured online or at the venue at full price, though availability may vary closer to the event.
