Last year, we had the opportunity to be part of the 10th anniversary celebration of Ryucon, Poland’s largest festival of Far Eastern culture. This July, we’ll return to Cracow to once again immerse ourselves in a celebration of games, music, anime, cinema, fandom, cuisine, and diverse cultures from around the world. This year’s Ryucon will take place from July 10 to 12 at Tauron Arena, where spectacular events will be held in the main hall, and participants will have the opportunity to attend panels and lectures on unusual and interesting topics in the conference rooms.

Ryucon is Poland’s largest event dedicated to Asian pop culture, attracting fans of manga, video games, anime, fantasy, and cosplay to Cracow every year. The name, which includes the word “Ryu” meaning “dragon,” symbolically highlights the connection between Japanese culture and the Polish legend of the Wawel Dragon.

During last year’s event, we had the opportunity to attend concerts, video game tournaments, cosplay shows, and even a wrestling gala. This year’s festival program will also include the annual staples, but new attractions have been added that offer specialized insights into various facets of pop culture.

Gaming fans can look forward to events dedicated to titles such as Mortal KombatFinal FantasyClair Obscur: Expedition 33Overcooked! 2Helldivers 2Ace Attorney, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. In addition, in designated areas, visitors will have the opportunity to try their hand at various arcade machines and consoles, testing their dexterity, sense of rhythm, and knowledge of game mechanics.
