More Than 50 International Participants in the Program – Expo Gamers 2026 Returns to Opatija

Only two days remain until the start of the leading regional gaming event Expo Gamers. On May 29 and 30, Opatija will once again become the center of the gaming industry, bringing together more than 50 international guests, speakers, exhibitors, developers, and artists through a rich two-day program.

The third edition of Expo Gamers features more than 70 program segments, including creative and professional workshops, panels, lectures, gaming tournaments, and entertaining expo content at the Marino Cvetković Sports Hall in Opatija.

“We spoke with our guests, some of the biggest names in the gaming industry, and everyone is excited to come to Opatija. From the very beginning, we planned a strong international program this year, and the result is truly a top-tier conference lineup,” said Marta Glažar from the Expo Gamers organization team.

Some of the most important names in the modern gaming industry are coming to Kvarner, attracting professionals, fans, and gamers alike: Larian Studios, Electronic Arts (EA), Supercell, Housemarque, as well as regional giants Mad Head Games, Outfit7, Nanobit, Croteam, and many others.

Special attention from visitors is expected for the honorary guests from the global hit Baldur’s Gate 3 — actors Tim Downie and Andrew Wincott, along with the award-winning composer Borislav Slavov from Larian Studios.

“We are especially proud that Expo Gamers is bringing world-class experts to Opatija while also creating space for young creators, students, and regional studios to become part of this story,” said Valentina Mišković Yoe from the Expo Gamers organization team.

The program includes six professional workshops aimed at students, young creatives, and industry professionals. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about game art portfolios, illustration, branding, music in video games, and career development in creative industries.

The entertainment segment of the event includes esports tournaments in Valorant, League of Legends, EA Sports FC 26, Tekken 8, Gran Turismo, Fortnite, and Trackmania. One of the most popular attractions once again is the Retro Zone, featuring old consoles and classic games.
