ENDIX Returns May 23–24, Now Available on Steam

If you enjoy independent indie game coverage, consider supporting Indie-Games.eu on Patreon. It helps keep the site independent.

ENDIX is a fully digital gaming event that operates as a playable experience built in Unreal Engine, essentially turning a virtual convention into a multiplayer game where attendees explore a 3D world filled with interactive booths from indie developers and exhibitors.

Rather than simply watching streams or browsing static pages, participants move around as avatars, check out unique game demos, watch trailers, try mini-games, engage with creators, and connect with other players from anywhere in the world. The platform aims to make gaming expos more accessible, inclusive, and engaging, particularly for those who might face barriers with physical events due to location, cost, social anxiety, or other reasons.

ENDIX is now officially available as a free download directly on Steam, which eliminates previous hurdles like extra registration steps or external launchers. The next edition is scheduled for May 23–24, 2026, building on the momentum from prior showcases that have featured hundreds of indie titles, with participants reporting boosts in Steam wishlists and direct player feedback.

At its core, ENDIX has always prioritized openness, welcoming not just players but also creators and developers looking to experiment with ideas in a low-friction environment. It serves as a cost-effective alternative to traditional physical expos, fostering genuine interactions in a lively digital space that feels more like wandering a bustling convention hall than attending a standard online event.
