Developer Carnedge Team has announced that CARNEDGE, a dark deckbuilding RPG, will launch on PC via Steam on January 19, 2026. The game is set in a broken world slowly being eaten away by corruption. Players are given one clear but dangerous goal: carry the Eternal Flame across this dying land and relight a distant lighthouse that may be the last source of hope.
Each year, a single warrior is chosen to carry the Lantern of Eternal Flame into lands filled with twisted creatures. Legends say that none of these warriors ever return, yet the flame always appears again, hinting that death is not the end of the journey. As players move forward, they travel across a large world map filled with story moments, side paths, and brutal boss fights.
Gameplay mixes deckbuilding strategy with fast and chaotic auto-battles. You shape your character one run at a time by choosing cards and collecting relics that define how you fight. Builds can take many forms, from a slow but heavily protected warrior to a summoner who calls strange allies to flood the battlefield. Elemental effects also play a big role in combat, with enemies being burned, frozen, shattered, or melted as cards and relics work together.
