Contrary to earlier reports suggesting an April release, developer Eshed has announced on its official Discord server that DREADZONE will now enter Early Access on Steam in June. The studio confirmed that a release date trailer and official announcement will arrive in the coming weeks.

Set in the year 2030, following the catastrophic Zeno-29 virus outbreak, DREADZONE takes players into a massive quarantine zone that combines abandoned industrial sites, decaying urban areas, underground shelters, and dangerous wilderness. The game offers a layered survival experience, forcing players to face numerous threats, including virus-infected zombies, mutated creatures, aggressive wildlife, and hostile human factions.

DREADZONE delivers a fully featured multiplayer experience, featuring both cooperative and competitive modes centered around desperate survival in a lawless world. While the core systems for character progression and resource management are already in place, specific details on these mechanics remain limited ahead of the game’s Early Access launch this summer.
