Bedtime Digital Games has announced Chosen by Odin, a one-to-three-player co-operative action RPG combining real-time combat with roguelite progression and dice-based character builds. It is coming to PC and Xbox Series X|S, although a release date has not been confirmed.

Players travel across the Nine Realms to confront cults attempting to bring about Ragnarök. Each expedition contains a main quest, optional events, hidden rewards and bosses, but remaining in a realm for too long allows overwhelming enemy hordes to close in.

The Fate Dice system shapes every run. Dice brought by the party enhance a shared selection of blessings before players take turns choosing upgrades. This creates decisions about whether to claim an immediately useful ability or leave it for a teammate whose build can benefit more.

Resources carried back to Valhalla can be used to craft new dice, improve warriors and unlock permanent bonuses. The developers plan more than 50 blessings, six Patron Powers and thousands of potential dice variations alongside distinct playable warriors.

Chosen by Odin is listed on Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Microsoft Store. Our Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel review covers another roguelite interpretation of Norse mythology.
