Share:

Indie studio Butter by the Fish and publisher Noodlecake have announced that their tactical roguelike Flick Shot Rogues will be launching on PC via Steam on September 17. The game, which has already received a warm reception with a 95% positive rating on its demo, promises a unique and satisfying twist on the roguelike genre, perfect for fans of games like Peglin or Dungeon Clawler.

Flick Shot Rogues combines turn-based strategy with a fun, physics-based mechanic. You literally flick your hero across a grid-based map to initiate attacks and unleash explosive combos. The goal is to line up the perfect shot to send your hero ricocheting across the board, blasting enemies in their path.

Between runs, you can collect powerful items, talents, and curses. Each of these has unique, game-changing effects, and a strategic choice can supercharge a run with game-breaking interactions. The game’s replayability is ensured by a constantly changing mix of enemies and collectibles, requiring you to adapt your strategy with each new attempt.
