Graveyard Keeper 2 is still two weeks away from release, but it has already generated approximately $1.53 million in gross Steam revenue.
tinyBuild CEO Alex Nichiporchik shared the game’s Steam backend data, revealing around 87,500 pre-orders with very few returns. The sequel has also accumulated nearly 944,000 lifetime wishlist additions, with approximately 814,000 still active and around 71,000 converted into purchases. Nichiporchik puts its lifetime conversion rate at 7.8 percent.

The first wishlist arrived on April 9, the same day Graveyard Keeper 2 was announced. Its unusually fast growth was helped by tinyBuild temporarily making the original game free on Steam. That promotion pushed Graveyard Keeper to roughly 46,000 concurrent players, generated additional DLC revenue and helped the sequel climb beyond 400,000 wishlists within days.
Developed by Lazy Bear Games, Graveyard Keeper 2 promotes players from cemetery manager to Grand Inquisitor. Graveyard maintenance, corpse processing and production automation return, although zombies can now operate more advanced machinery.
Players will also rebuild a Town for profit, complete quests and command an undead army during combat and tower-defense sequences. The sequel presents its world through 3D environments with pixel-art visuals and dynamic lighting, while retaining the original game’s dark humor.
Graveyard Keeper 2 launches September 22 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. Steam pre-orders cost $19.99, discounted from $24.99, and include a Sauna building and exclusive outfit.
