Fatbot Games, an independent game developer from Slovakia, announced that their new game, HORDELORD, will release on August 18th. It will be available on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.
HORDELORD is a fast-paced action game where you fight off waves of enemies in an arena. It’s a spin-off set in the dark but charming world of their previous game, Gravelord. In this new title, you will step into the shoes of Queedo, a character who wants to become a gravedigger and aims to impress no less than Death himself. Queedo will be armed with powerful weapons, mysterious tarot cards, and a special magical shovel. You will need to move quickly, blast enemies, and dig their way through hordes of undead creatures.
HORDELORD offers a variety of ways to play and master the undead hordes: You can choose between Horde Mode, where you must survive a set number of increasingly tough enemy waves, or Endless Mode, where the goal is to survive an unending attack for as long as possible to climb the leaderboards.
The game encourages you to “Kill with Style”, rewarding you for flashy moves and impressive ways of defeating enemies. You’ll have six satisfying weapons at your disposal, each with unique upgrades and tactical depth. To boost your abilities, you’ll collect Tarot Cards, which provide magical power-ups. Mobility is key in HORDELORD, as you’ll master multi-jump boots, spectral shovels, and bouncy gadgets in the arena to navigate and outmaneuver foes.
As a thank-you to early supporters of Gravelord, HORDELORD will be given for free to everyone who owns Gravelord in Early Access.
