If you were like me, you were glued to the recent Indie World Showcase, waiting to see what surprises Nintendo had in store. And, yes, while we didn’t catch Kena: Bridge of Spirits in the spotlight this time, Amber Lab made sure not to leave us hanging. Just a few days later, the studio dropped a brand-new trailer on their YouTube channel with big news: Kena: Bridge of Spirits is officially coming to Nintendo Switch 2 this Spring.

Now, if you haven’t yet played Kena, this game is a proper gem. With its beautiful Pixar-like visuals and emotional storytelling, it captured a lot of hearts when it launched on PS5 and PC back in 2021. And now, that magic is coming to a whole new audience. What’s more, Amber Lab is going all in: this isn’t just a simple port. The Switch 2 version will come as a complete package, bundling the base game, the Anniversary DLC and a brand-new New Game+ mode.

If that wasn’t enough, there’s more on the horizon. Amber Lab is already building the next chapter, Kena: Skies of Kosmora, set to launch on PlayStation 5 and PC later this year. So, if you’ve been waiting for a reason to jump back in, or if you’re new to this journey, now’s the time. Kena is about to cross a bridge into a wider world, and I, for one, can’t wait to see where it takes us.
