Mayday: The Survival Island is an upcoming open-world survival crafting game developed and published by Pequi Studios. It will be available for PC via Steam later this year. In the game, you take on the role of John Rudel, an archaeologist and adventurer whose journey is abruptly cut short after a plane crash leaves him stranded on a deserted, unexplored island.
The plot revolves around survival and uncovering the mysteries of this enigmatic archipelago. Mayday promises a blend of survival challenges and a deeper story of self-discovery, as you explore the secrets of the island and confront its dangers. The environment includes various biomes such as plains, beaches, swamps, ruins, deserts, cemeteries, and caves, each with unique resources and hidden treasures that enrich the survival experience.
You will gather resources, craft tools, hunt, fish, and cultivate plants to survive. By developing your skills and equipment, you will be better able to protect yourself from the island’s threats. You can also craft tools and constructions to aid in survival, including farms with the island’s animals that provide a constant source of food. The crafting system plays a crucial role in progression and adaptation to the challenges the island presents.
