Kingmakers, a highly anticipated medieval sandbox game, is launching in Early Access on Steam in late Q1 2025. Developed by Redemption Road Games and published by the well-known tinyBuild, the game combines third-person shooting, city-building, and real-time strategy, all set in a rich medieval world.
In Kingmakers, you return to war-torn medieval England, but with modern weaponry. Your mission is to change history and prevent a future catastrophe. You’ll build your kingdom, command armies, and wage massive battles using swords, spears, firearms, and even airstrikes. This blend of old and new creates an exciting and unexpected experience.
The game features real-time battles with thousands of soldiers fighting at once. Advanced AI determines each soldier’s behavior and tactical decisions, while a special animation system makes character movements and combat feel realistic. The result is a dynamic battlefield where smart decision-making and quick reactions are key.
Kingmakers also supports online co-op for up to three players, allowing you to lead armies together. Coordinated assaults on enemy defenses or joint base defense add excitement and strategic depth, turning every battle into a shared adventure.
