If you haven’t tried the demo, you’re missing out. It’s been a while since a game this unique and fun made such an impression during a showcase, not to mention the killer music. Debuted at the Six One Indie Showcase, Mr. Sleepy Man is a new sandbox adventure game that is set to bring a dose of chaos to PC and Nintendo Switch in 2025.

Solo developer Devin Santi is promising a proper blend of 3D platforming, chaos simulation, and interactive comedy. This without a doubt reminded me of Goat Simulator, inviting us to cause havoc in the peaceful world of Bedtime Town. Why is it always solo developers who come up with such wild ideas? As mentioned, the demo is available on Steam right now.

Every object in the game world can be picked up, manipulated, or used to cause mayhem, which leads to unpredictable results. The non-player characters are a key part of this. They have their own logic and can remember past interactions, so a friendly encounter can turn hostile based on the chaos you’ve caused.

You can jump, glide, and dive across interconnected levels filled with over 250 objectives and secrets to discover. A standout element is the soundtrack, which was personally composed and performed by Santi. It combines a nostalgic vibe reminiscent of classic platformers with the raw energy of early 2000s alternative rock, perfectly complementing the game’s comedic tone.
