Must be Feng Shui Turns Interior Design Into a Calm Puzzle Game

Must be Feng Shui has been officially revealed, with the development team sharing early details about the project and its next steps. Armed Chicken and Windak&Family Entertainment are preparing the game for its first public playtests, which are planned to begin on PC via Steam in early 2026. While an exact date has not been announced, the developers say they want the test to go live only once the gameplay feels fully polished.

The game asks players to bring balance and calm to different living spaces by placing furniture based on real Feng Shui rules. Instead of focusing only on looks, Must be Feng Shui treats each room like a puzzle. Every item has clear rules that affect the space around it. Beds should not face mirrors, desks should not block doors, and wardrobes must allow light from windows to move freely. Changing the position of one piece can throw off the balance of the whole room, pushing you to think carefully about every choice.

What makes the game especially welcoming is its relaxed approach. Most rooms do not have a single right answer. Players are free to move, rotate, and test furniture layouts until the space feels balanced. The clean visual style and calm sound design help create a peaceful mood, and there are no timers or harsh penalties. This lets you slow down and enjoy the process of turning messy rooms into comfortable homes.

Alongside this mode, the game also includes a sandbox option. In sandbox mode, you can recreate your own real homes by entering room sizes and placing furniture where it sits in real life. This allows you to see how your space matches up with Feng Shui principles.
