Rougelite Realm of Ink Disappears From Steam

Share:

The action roguelike Realm of Ink, known for its striking art style and gameplay inspired by Hades, has vanished from Steam without any clear explanation. Leap Studio, the game’s developer, announced the removal in a recent blog post, expressing their confusion over the situation. They assured fans that they are working to resolve the issue quickly and that development on the game will continue despite this unexpected setback.

Realm of Ink had been in Early Access since September 26, 2024, and was well-received by players, earning 92% positive reviews on Steam. The full release, initially planned for January 2025, was recently pushed to March to ensure a polished final product. The game’s mix of beautiful visuals and engaging mechanics had drawn comparisons to Hades with an artistic flair reminiscent of Okami.

Curiously, Leap Studio’s entire developer page has also been removed from Steam. With no obvious reason for the delisting and players eagerly awaiting updates, the sudden disappearance is troubling for the developers. Leap Studio has promised to keep players informed as they work to bring Realm of Ink back online.

In our review of Realm of Ink, we noted that “If you are a fan of action roguelite games, Realm of Ink definitely deserves a spot on your list of games to play.”
