Photos claiming to show the controllers for Nintendo’s next console, tentatively referred to as the Nintendo Switch 2, have appeared on social media. The pictures seem to depict updated Joy-Con controllers that might come with the new system.
The images reportedly come from a factory in China, said to be involved in producing Nintendo’s upcoming, unannounced console. However, the authenticity of these photos remains uncertain. With so much speculation and information circulating from case manufacturers, it’s possible these images could be convincing fakes.
If the images are real, they align with earlier claims that the Switch 2’s Joy-Cons will be slightly larger and include a magnetic connection. This matches details seen in mock-ups and fan-made comparisons. Recent leaks from case manufacturers, who often receive early design details to prepare accessories, have also hinted at changes to the console’s shape.
These controller photos are part of a wave of rumored leaks about the Switch 2. In September, images showing a design similar to the current Nintendo Switch appeared online. Just this week, pictures of supposed internal hardware components surfaced on Reddit, suggesting the console will once again use Nvidia technology.
Nintendo has not officially announced the Switch successor yet but plans to reveal it by the end of its fiscal year in March 2025.
So these are the "New Joy-Cons"?

These are very underwhelming, they look just uncomfortable as the first ones with a flat back, no grip, and no real D-Pad again, no thanks.
