Scramble Knights Royale is a new multiplayer game that mixes the pressure of a 32-player battle with the exploration and puzzle solving of classic fantasy adventures like The Legend of Zelda. Instead of guns, players use swords, magic, and crafting, creating a quest-focused take on the last-player-standing formula.
Each match drops thirty-two knights onto a group of floating islands that constantly change as the playable area slowly shrinks. Rather than only searching for gear, players are encouraged to explore dungeons, solve puzzles, and complete small quests across the map. These activities reward rare items that can be taken to blacksmiths during the match, where weapons can be upgraded.
Between matches, players can gather in the Homestead, a shared social space that can be decorated and used to relax with friends. Customization also plays a big role, with a seasonal “Drip” system that offers new outfits, hairstyles, and color options so every knight can look unique.
Scramble Knights Royale supports cross-play across online matches and LAN play. In addition to the main 32-player free-for-all mode, players can enjoy split-screen PvP, co-op play, and Steam Remote Play Together for friends who do not own the game.
Players who want an early look at the game will get their chance soon. A North American server test is planned from January 9 to January 11, 2026, starting at 5 PM PST. Interested players can visit the game’s Steam page and request access to join the test and earn special rewards for early participants.
