Splatterbot to Launch on Switch and PC in September, Demo Available Now

Share:

Chaotic local multiplayer party game Splatterbot is set to make a big mess on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on September 4, 2025. Developed and published by the Newcastle-based indie studio Hey! Kookaburra, the game transforms the mundane world of cleaning robots into a frantic, paint-splattering showdown for up to four local players.

The premise of the game is simple yet messy: control a rogue cleaning robot and cover the arena in as much of your own colored paint as possible before the timer runs out. In fact, one-button controls and straightforward objectives make it a perfect pick-up-and-play experience for players of all ages. Players can dash and splash their way through dynamic environments filled with traps, hazards, and randomized power-ups like speed boosts or supersized bots.

A demo is also available on Steam, allowing you to get a taste of the chaotic fun before launch. The demo even includes a Team Mode, where players can compete in 2v2 or 3v1 matches.
