Streetdog BMX Aims to Revive the Golden Age of BMX Games Later This Month

As the new year begins, fans of action sports are getting ready to swap winter boots for bike pedals. Streetdog BMX, the newest game from Yeah Us! Games, is set to launch on January 14, 2026 on PC via Steam. After four years of focused development, the game aims to bring back the fun and freedom of classic arcade sports titles like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX, while still offering depth for skilled riders.

Streetdog BMX takes place across six large, hand-built maps designed for smooth movement and creativity. These locations range from classic skate parks to busy city streets, rooftops, and construction sites. The trick system is fully free-form, letting riders link spins, flips, grinds, and manuals into long combos. For those who want more direction, the game includes over 270 challenges that encourage finding hidden areas and mastering complex routes through each map.

The game is led by developer Adam Hunt, a lifelong BMX rider, and that passion shows in every detail. Customization plays a big role, allowing full control over both bike and rider. Bikes can be tuned and recolored, while characters can be styled with different outfits, hairstyles, and tattoos.
