The Long-Awaited City-Builder Synergy Brings Unique Gameplay Mechanics Recognizable to the Genre

Synergy is a city-builder game where humanity must survive in a strange and hostile world. Build your city while respecting the ecosystem, explore and analyze the environment, and meet the needs of your citizens. You must also analyze plants and other natural elements of the region, adding information to your Book of Knowledge to successfully survive.

In the game, you will find nine districts with unique characteristics built around different squares by cleverly positioning your buildings. Powerful, district-specific bonuses encourage city development, and you must satisfy your citizens’ needs and foster prosperity by providing the most satisfactory housing options. Players will need to consider things like the distribution of living space, pedestrian zones, meeting places, and the balance between resource production.

Exploration is an important vector for progress in the game, where you can visit more distant regions to discover new destinations, meet other survivors and convince them to join your city, find tablets of invaluable knowledge, and bring back new plant species to introduce into your environment. The demo version, which we had the opportunity to try during the Steam Next Fest, truly excels at showing what we can expect from this game.

Synergy is set to be released in the second quarter of this year for PC via Steam.
