The Czech gaming giant Bohemia Interactive achieved extraordinary results in 2024, increasing its revenue by 34% to $60.8 million. Despite a global slowdown in the gaming industry, the studio achieved incredible success, selling 4.85 million copies of its games and DLCs across PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch platforms. Last year, games from Bohemia Interactive were played by 17 million players worldwide.
According to Slavomír Pavlíček, co-founder and CFO of Bohemia Interactive, 2024 exceeded all expectations. Two major successes were highlighted:
Bohemia Interactive’s revenue comes almost entirely from international markets, with a staggering 99% of revenue generated from abroad. The studio’s biggest market is the United States, accounting for 42% of sales, followed by the United Kingdom (7%) and Germany (6%). The studio also reported significant growth in new regions. In Ukraine, the number of players doubled compared to the previous year, while Brazil is becoming an increasingly important market for the company.
