After years of waiting, one of the most unique supernatural fighting games is finally making its move from arcades to computers. Developer Team ARCANA has confirmed that Daemon Bride: Additional Gain will launch on PC via Steam on December 30, 2025. To mark the release, the game will be available with a ten percent discount until January 14, 2026, and will include full support for both English and Japanese.

First released in Japanese arcades in 2011 as an expanded version of the original 2009 game, Additional Gain tells the story of a hidden war between seventeen angels and demons. The setting is a sealed-off Tokyo in the near future, where humans, divine beings, and creatures from hell are bound together through magical contracts. Every fight begins with an “opening bell,” which acts as a promise between each fighter and their supernatural partner.

Online play is powered by rollback netcode, helping matches stay smooth even across long distances. The visuals have also been improved, with support for widescreen 16:9 displays and high resolutions through custom upscaling. For those who prefer the classic look, the original 4:3 arcade ratio remains available.

The character roster has been expanded as well – powerful boss character Dies Irae Deus is now fully playable in competitive modes To help ease entry into the game’s fast and flashy combat system, Team ARCANA has added a detailed Training Mode and an in-game guide called the Primer of Duel, offering clear explanations of mechanics, movement, and attacks.
