Dreadline: Net Quota delivers true horror fishing to pay off your debt

Independent studio Mana Brigade has announced its new game Dreadline: Net Quota, a roguelite multiplayer adventure that combines chaotic fishing with horror and a desperate struggle against relentless debt collectors. After last year’s VR release BlackForge: A Smithing Adventure, the team is now diving into darker waters with a title that blends terror, humor, and survival.

In Dreadline: Net Quota, a crew of up to six fishermen faces an impossible task — they must catch fish to pay off an enormous debt, all while being hunted by terrifying underwater creatures. The further they sail from shore, the stranger and deadlier the monsters become, and every cast of the line could attract something best left alone. Alongside battling abyssal beasts, players must also deal with a ruthless loan shark who won’t rest until he gets his money.

Key features include chaotic multiplayer fishing where teams must gather enough catch before time runs out. Roguelite progression allows for unlocking upgrades, new equipment, and bizarre fishing techniques, making each session unique. The tone balances between dark humor and horror, where the biggest catch might also be your last.

Dreadline: Net Quota offers an intense multiplayer experience where teams must coordinate their efforts to meet daily quotas before the clock runs out. Progression unlocks new tools, upgrades, and fishing methods, while the game’s eerie yet darkly comedic moments create an unpredictable environment where every successful catch might bring new troubles.

The game is set to launch in Early Access during the summer of 2025, and interested players can already wishlist and support it on Steam.
