Featured during the Story-Rich Showcase 2026, the new gameplay update for The Hearth & Harbour gave players a closer look at life in the harbor city of Lewthport, where you’ll take over a struggling restaurant while trying to build a future far away from the threat of war.

You play as Kit Purscell, a refugee who arrives in town hoping for a fresh start. The rundown Silver Spoon restaurant becomes both your livelihood and your connection to the local community. The trailer showcases everything from renovating the building and serving customers to exploring the town and forming relationships with the people who call Lewthport home.

What helps The Hearth & Harbour stand out is how it combines management gameplay with meaningful storytelling. Running the restaurant is only part of the experience. Conversations, decisions, and relationships all shape how your story unfolds, while larger events beyond the town’s borders slowly begin influencing daily life.

Coming from the developers of The Pale Beyond, The Hearth & Harbour looks set to deliver another emotionally driven experience when it launches later in 2026 on PC via Steam.
