KRAFTON, the South Korean gaming giant behind PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, announced its strongest financial performance to date for the first half and second quarter of 2025. For the first half, the company reported record-breaking revenue of approximately 1.11 billion dollars and an operating profit of around 510 million dollars. These figures represent year-over-year increases of 11.9% and 9.5%. Looking at the second quarter alone, KRAFTON’s revenue hit roughly 480 million dollars, with an operating profit of approximately 178 million dollars.

The company’s success came from strong performance across all platforms. Mobile games led with approximately 695 million dollars in revenue, followed by PC at about 394 million dollars , and console/other segments at roughly 24 million dollars. On PC, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS remained strong thanks to live service updates and the new “Contender” character system.

KRAFTON plans to boost player engagement in the second half of 2025 with new collaborations, including Bugatti and K-pop group aespa. The company is also expanding the PUBG universe with new games. At Gamescom in August 2025, KRAFTON will reveal PUBG: BLINDSPOT, a top-down tactical shooter. Project Black Budget, an extraction shooter, will have a closed alpha test later this year.

Their life simulation game, inZOI, is a huge hit. It’s now the fastest-selling Korean premium title to sell over 1 million units. Launched in Early Access on March 28, inZOI topped sales charts in 27 countries across North America, Europe, and Asia, with 95% of its sales coming from outside Korea. KRAFTON is building inZOI into a long-term global franchise by listening to community feedback, all supported by its advanced Smart Zoi AI technology.

KRAFTON recently launched “Orak”, an AI evaluation tool for large language models. Additionally, they teamed up with SK Telecom to improve three open-source AI models. In July, KRAFTON invested in ADK Group, a Japanese advertising firm known for its anime ties, while also acquiring Eleventh Hour Games (US-based), adding their action RPG Last Epoch to its game lineup.
