PEAK Gets Mesa Update, Adding New Biome and Items

The cooperative survival climbing game PEAK has just received a major content addition with the release of the The Mesa Update on Steam. The game was created in a collaboration between AGGRO CRAB and Landfall Games, which has sold over 100,000 units in its first 24 hours when it got released two months ago, and this new update aims to build on that early success.

The most significant change in the update is the introduction of a new biome, the Mesa. This new area is characterized by its sandy terrain and intense heat, offering a new batch of challenges for players. For the first week, the Mesa will appear in every run, after which it will be randomly rotated with the original Alpine biome.

In addition to the new environment, the update adds a variety of new items to the game. These include dynamite, balloons, a scout cannon, a parasol, and sunscreen, as well as aloe vera. You will also be able to collect 10 new badges, each with new cosmetics as rewards.
