Sultan’s Game just added new cards to experiment with

Sultan’s Game, a narrative RPG by Double Cross Studio and 2P Games, which has sold over 600,000 copies in its first month on Steam, just got a free update. This game blends strategic card play with a rich, branching story. Inspired by One Thousand and One Nights, you’re a courtier in the Sultan’s court, facing a seven-day cycle of cursed cards.

This update adds ten crowdfunded cards, like “Ring of Eternal Oath” and “Supreme Lady Becky”, bringing new life to the game’s stories through community ideas. They expand both gameplay and narrative options, building on the recently added Steam Workshop support.

The update adds more content to the game. A beautifully hand-drawn original novel, available as DLC, introduces a brand-new character and story set in the game’s universe, offering more lore and immersion. New Steam badges and community items are also included.

To celebrate this update, Sultan’s Game is currently 15% off on Steam, bringing the price down from 24,50 € to about 20,82 €. This sale lasts until Thursday, July 24, 2025. You can also read our review of the game here.
