Nihon Falcom has released a new two-minute trailer for the remake of its classic RPG, Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter. The trailer gives fans a first look at the game’s story, characters, and updated gameplay. Remake is set to launch worldwide on September 19, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
This remake of the classic RPG returns players to where the iconic Trails series all began. It reimagines the original adventure with new visuals, refined gameplay, and an unforgettable journey across the Liberl Kingdom. The story follows Estelle Bright and her adoptive brother Joshua as they begin their careers as junior bracers, a peacekeeping guild. What starts as a simple mission to prove themselves quickly turns into a much larger adventure.
The remake promises a captivating world that feels truly alive, with every character interaction tailored to your progress. The game has also been updated with modern gameplay mechanics, giving you the choice between traditional turn-based combat and a new, real-time action combat system.
