Turkish solo developer Celal Sahin has announced Godless Dawn, a dark fantasy action RPG targeting a Q1 2027 release on Steam. The Unreal Engine 5 project is being developed under Hawk Studio Entertainment.

Godless Dawn takes place in a dying world where the gods have fallen silent and once-powerful kingdoms are collapsing. You control a knight who betrayed his legion and slaughtered his fellow soldiers. He must now cross the ruined lands to discover why the gods abandoned humanity and uncover the truth behind the world’s highest judgment.

Combat follows the Soulslike formula, with players studying enemy movements, dodging attacks and striking during brief openings. Weapons will have different ranges, speeds and levels of impact, while elemental magic, abilities and equipment can be combined to create different character builds. Flexible class switching should also allow players to adjust their approach without remaining tied to a single role.

Boss battles will form an important part of the adventure. However, major enemies are designed as more than physical obstacles. Each has a personal history, belief or corrupted purpose that connects them to the larger world. As its description explains: “Every monster was once human. Every judgment began with a choice.”

Exploration will take you through forgotten castles, silent temples, blood-sealed cities and decaying graveyards. These locations will contain environmental storytelling connected to old promises, lost faith and the sins responsible for the world’s decline.
