Swedish developer Decemberborn Interactive has released a new gameplay trailer for Cathedral: Crow’s Curse, an action-adventure prequel set in the world of Cathedral. The trailer debuted during the Convergence Showcase. The game is set to release on PC via Steam.
Cathedral: Crow’s Curse follows Crow, a skilled Shade Sentinel who originally appeared as a non-playable character in Cathedral. This time, Crow takes the leading role as the balance of the Shade Forest begins to collapse.
His journey will take him through cursed woodland and forgotten ancient ruins as he searches for the source of the growing danger. Along the way, players will learn more about the origins of the Sentinel order and confront the dark forces threatening its survival.
The prequel combines combat, exploration and atmospheric storytelling while expanding upon the foundations established by the original game. Players can expect new locations, abilities and challenges, alongside further details about the mysterious Shade Sentinels and their place within the Cathedral universe.
