Independent French developer Ars Goetia and publisher Dear Villagers have announced that HellSlave II: Judgment of the Archon will launch on August 4, 2026, for PC via Steam. The release date was revealed alongside a brand-new trailer during the Convergence Games Showcase, giving fans another look at the dark fantasy dungeon crawler.
The sequel builds on the original HellSlave with a bigger world, deeper storytelling, expanded character customization, and more detailed handcrafted visuals. Once again, you’ll step into a world devastated by an endless war between six Demon Lords. However, humanity now faces an even greater threat after Heaven sends the unstoppable Archon of Judgment to wipe out demons and humans alike.
Players can choose from six different classes, including a spectral assassin and a plague-wielding mage, while unlocking powerful demonic abilities that come with dangerous consequences. Combining class skills with flexible talent trees and corrupted powers will be key to surviving the game’s brutal encounters.
Outside of combat, you’ll travel across a top-down overworld filled with ruined villages, dungeons, sanctuaries, hidden secrets, and quests. Loot and exploration play a much bigger role this time, encouraging players to uncover the world’s dark history with every run.
