Deep Dish Dungeon Revealed at Gamescom, Blends Dungeon Crawling with Crafting and Co-Op

Behold Studios, the developer behind Knights of Pen and Paper and Chroma Squad, has officially announced its new dungeon crawler Deep Dish Dungeon. Published by Raw Fury, the game made its world premiere at the Gamescom Awesome Indies Showcase and focuses on curiosity and survival in an atmospheric, hand-crafted world.

Deep Dish Dungeon is a retro-inspired exploration game with a unique twist. You delve into a mysterious dungeon, where you must solve puzzles, battle enemies, and, most importantly, be resourceful. A core mechanic involves gathering resources to craft essential tools and cook meals. These recipes not only provide sustenance but also offer various stat boosts, rewarding clever resource management.

The game’s hand-crafted design, which includes Metroidvania-style progression, is filled with secrets and branching paths, encouraging you to explore every corner to uncover its mysteries. It can be played solo or with up to three friends in online co-op, allowing a team to uncover the dungeon’s secrets together.
