W 2026 roku IndieGames kontynuuje swoje uczestnictwo w wydarzeniach, które integrują nie tylko fanów gier wideo, ale również entuzjastów muzyki, kina i innych dzieł kultury. Tym razem sezon relacji z różnych imprez rozpoczynamy koncertem Anime Symphony, który odbędzie się 30 stycznia w Krakowie. Chociaż mieliśmy już okazję posłuchać występów organizowanych w ramach tej inicjatywy podczas większych wydarzeń, tym razem będzie to zupełnie nowe wykonanie muzyki z anime – wybrzmi ona bowiem w kameralnym składzie.
Anime Symphony Kameralnie to koncert muzyki inspirowanej japońskimi animacjami, wykonywanej w klasycznej formie muzyki kameralnej. Projekt łączy świat popkultury z kulturą wysoką i edukacją muzyczną. Dzięki mniejszej liczbie muzyków na scenie każdy instrument staje się wyraźniejszy, a każda nuta bardziej intymna. Znika dystans, a publiczność, dzięki bliskości sceny, może w pełni zanurzyć się w muzycznej narracji.
Na scenie w Krakowie wystąpią muzycy łączący różne światy muzyczne – od muzyki klasycznej i jazzu po współczesne brzmienia, muzykę filmową i muzykę z gier wideo. Sercem koncertu będzie zespół smyczkowy, którego delikatność i precyzja stanowią idealne tło dla emocjonalnych aranżacji utworów. Brzmienie orkiestry wzbogacą fortepian i gitara, a także unikalny instrument rzadko spotykany w Polsce: japońskie koto. Za aranżacje podczas koncertu odpowiada Krzysztof Ratajski, który komponuje i aranżuje nie tylko muzykę koncertową, ale również filmową, teatralną i do gier komputerowych.
Koncert organizowany jest we współpracy z władzami Krakowa, a patronat nad nim objęła Ambasada Japonii w Polsce. Za cały projekt Anime Symphony odpowiada z kolei Fundacja Yumegakanau, znana z łączenia muzyki symfonicznej z popkulturą.
